We are a spin-off company from LG Electronics America Research Center.

 

The name of our technology is NeuroMosaic.

 

We develop and sell NeuroMosaic processor hardware and software development kit SDK. NeuroMosAIc Processor is AI accelerator hardware called NPU, Neural Processing Unit.

 

We are conducting North American B/D, marketing and sales through our subsidiary SiliconNeuro in Silicon Valley, USA from the beginning.

 

Our main customers are fabless companies, design houses, and FPGA companies globally in the field of smart-X (such as smart home & city), and Robotics.

 

We have a business model of providing RTL code, SDK SW, and technical support to them and receiving license fees and royalties. 

Since establishment, we have accomplished strategic investment from LG and pre-A investment from several VCs, and last year, we successfully completed Series A investment from 5 VCs.

  

We just started Series B fund raising in the amount of $12-15M. It raised a Series A round of investment of KRW 5 billion in 2023, and has raised a total of KRW 7.3 billion in investment to date. It plans to complete the Series B investment by the end of 2024.

 

에임퓨처는 NPU 가속기 IP, Edge-AI SoC 및 시스템 통합 서비스를 제공하여 IoT, 가전제품, 자동차 시장을 타겟으로 하는 종합 AI 솔루션 제공업체로 인공지능 처리용 신경망처리장치(NPU) 핵심 IP를 개발해 온 LG전자 북미연구소 출신들이 2020년 10월에 한국에 설립한 회사이다. 미국 실리콘밸리 산호세에 위치한 KOTRA 내에도‘실리콘뉴로(SilicoNeuro)’라는 현지법인을 설립했다.

에임퓨처는 2016년 알파고 이벤트가 있기 전인 2015년부터 미래기술에 대한 연구 활동의 하나로 인공지능망을 처리하는 데 특화된 NPU라는 하드웨어를 개발한 팀이 주축이 되어 설립한 회사로,김창수 대표이사는 삼성전자 반도체 부문을 첫 직장으로 시작해서 미국 Silicon Magic, TI, Cradle technology, Synopsys, Cadence 등의 반도체 기업에서 실력과 경험을 쌓은 32년 경력의 시스템 반도체 설계 전문가이다. 2024년 10월 기준 현재 28명이 재직하고 있으며, 본사는 서울시 서초구 태봉로 108, AI 양재 허브 303호 이며 지사는 실리콘 뉴로 3003 N. 1st St, Ste. 253, San Jose, CA 95134, USA 이다. 2023년 50억 규모로 시리즈 A라운드 투자금을 조달하였고 현재까지 누적 투자 조달액은 73억 정도이며, 2024년 연말까지 시리즈 B투자 유치 마무리할 예정이다.
