2019년 일본의 수출규제 이후 과학기술정보통신부에서 국내 소재·부품·장비 분야의 연구 역량을 총결집하기 위하여, 자체 역량을 보유한 연구실 등 51곳을 국가연구인프라(3N)로 지정하였으며, 국가연구인프라(3N)는 국가연구실(N-LAB), 국가연구시설 (N-FACILITY), 국가연구협의체 (N-TEAM)를 의미한다.

 

국가연구협의체(N-TEAM) 15곳 중 대표협의체 역할을 수행하고 있는 KAIST 소재부품장비 협의체에서는 ETRI 디스플레이 광통신부품 연구 협의체 및 한국반도체디스플레이기술학회(KSDT)의 반도체디스플레이 협의체와 한국화학연구원(KRICT) 화학 소재부품장비 협의체, 한양대학교(ERICA)소재부품장비 협의체와 반도체대전(SEDEX)에 공동으로 참여하며, 3N 정책 홍보 및 소부장 분야의 중소·중견기업 대상 기술자문, 기술개발 지원 등 기술 경쟁력 강화를 위한 기업지원사업을 안내한다.

After Japan's export restriction in 2019, the Ministry of Science and ICT designated 51 institutions as Materials, Parts and Equipment National Research Infrastructures(3N), in order to gather research capabilities in the materials, parts, and equipment fields in 2020.

National Research Infrastructure (3N) means the National Laboratory (N-LAB), National Research Facilities (N-FACILITY), and National Research Consultative Team (N-TEAM).

KAIST's N-team, which plays the representative consultative role among 15 N-TEAMs, will participate in SEDEX 2022 jointly with ‘ETRI Display Optical Communication Components N-Team’, ‘KSDT Semiconductor&Display N-Team’,'KRICT N-TEAM', and 'ERICA N-TEAM'.

In addition, The five N-Team will guide small business to strengthen technological competitiveness with 3N policy promotion, technical advice and R&D support in SEDEX 2022
